Step into the world of interactive theatre with ACT TOGETHER: Forum Theatre for Inclusive Youth Work! This dynamic training course invites youth workers to explore the power of forum theatre—a creative and impactful tool for youth inclusion and social change. Through immersive experiences and practical techniques, participants will gain the skills to engage young people, spark dialogue, and drive meaningful transformation in their communities.

Location: Târgoviște, Romania (Hotel Nova)
Participants: 27 Youth Workers from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries
Covered topics: forum theatre, youth inclusion, social change, youth empowerment

AIM AND OBJECTIVES

The Training course aims to empower youth workers with innovative and inclusive methodologies, specifically forum theatre, to engage young people in active citizenship and social inclusion.

Objectives:

  • To explore effective and creative methods in engaging young people and develop their active citizenship skills.
  • To understand improvization and forum theatre techniques as a tool to foster social change.
  • To empower youth workers with forum theatre methodologies in the area of inclusive youth work.
  • To provide space for participants to discuss and share best practices on youth inclusion and empowerment.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

The training course is open to 24 participants (max. 3 per organization) from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries

EU MEMBER STATES: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden.

THIRD COUNTRIES ASSOCIATED TO THE PROGRAMME: North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Türkiye.

Who should apply?

✅ Youth workers, facilitators and professionals engaged in non-formal education and youth empowerment.
✅ Individuals aged 22+ (no upper age limit) working in NGOs, youth centers, or educational institutions.
✅ Applicants interested in youth participation, social inclusion, and forum theatre as a tool for change.

We strongly encourage applications from:

  • Those with little or no experience in international training courses.
  • Youth workers from rural or remote areas.
  • Professionals working with marginalized, disadvantaged, or fewer-opportunity youth groups.
