European Youth Photographers Week
European Youth Photographers Week is an international youth exchange co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Comission.
The project will involve 35 young people from Romania, Italy, Portugal, Serbia, Bulgaria, the Netherlands and Latvia.

Project context
The activity stems from the need to promote the cohesion and inclusion of young people from various European countries through the knowledge of local territories through the language of photographic digital storytelling.
Project objectives
- to develop new and transferable skills and knowledge in participants, in the field of photography;
- to promote the recognition of different backgrounds and abilities especially for those with fewer opportunities;
- to equip youth workers and young leaders with competences and methods for their professional development, including for communication and digital youth work, needed for transferring the common fundamental values of our society;
- to promote the activation of social and economic changes in the regions involved in the project;
- to stimulate creativity and the sense of initiative of the participants and their inclusion in the society.
Participant profile
Each delegation will consist of 4 young people aged between 18 and 25 plus 1 team leader. Priority will be given to the participation of young NEETs or those from social distress groups.
Participants should:
- be interested in the topic of digital communication;
- be interested in the photography sector;
- be aware of the importance of mutual understanding between people;
- be aware of the importance of associations, especially youth associations;
- have the will to make available to their peers the skills acquired during the exchange;
- promote knowledge of your local community through online dissemination activities;
Covid-19 measures in Italy
In Italy all the people who completed vaccination process (3 doses) are allowed to enter. The authorities request only Green Pass or Vaccination document witnessing it and to fill passenger locator form in advance. If you are not vaccinated authorities base their rules according to 3 colours (green, yellow, red) countries. Costs:
Travel costs are covered by the participants and are reimbursed after the end of the youth exchange.
Travel costs for participants in Romania are reimbursed within the limit of 275 euros.
