I HAVE A GREEN

I Have a Green is a Erasmus youth exchange that aims to develop young people’s skills in environmental protection, active citizenship and digitalization.

PROJECT DATA

Youth exchange: 06 November – 15 November 2022

Place: Târgoviște, Dâmbovița Hotel

Participants: 35 young people and youth leaders

Participanting countries: Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Italia, Spain.

Topics: environmental protection, sustenability, digitalisation, green skills.

PROJECT CONTEXT

European communities are facing with a lot of environmental issues. Even if there are a lot of problems, just a small part of the population, including young people are preoccupied about them. Our daily life actions have a big impact on the environment.
Through „I Have a Green” project we want to raise young people’s awareness on environmental issues and focus on cultivating “green skills”. The project will help youth to find the best solutions to environmental problems and to learn practices that can be included in daily life to protect the environment. Each of them will learn to be an active citizen toward a green and healthy environment.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

”I Have a Green” Youth Exchange aims to develop skills of young people in the environmental protection, active citizenship and digitalization. This way the project ontributes to the orientation of youth towards a green and sustainable future.

Objectives

  • To stimulate active EU citizenship towards a green environment;
  • To explore the best ways and good practices to act for a sustainable and green environment in daily life;
  • To use digital tools to create social campaigns promoting a sustainable and green environment.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

The target group for the youth exchange consists of 30 young people aged between 18-28 and 5 group leaders aged over 20, with no upper age limit.

Each national group will group will be composed by 6 young people and 1 group leader.

Young people who will take part in this youth exchange should be interested in the project topic and motivated to acquire knowledge and skills on environmental protection.
