SOFT SKILLS FOR THE DIGITAL ERA

Soft Skills for the Digital Era is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange that brings together young people from across Europe. Participants will explore and strengthen essential personal and social abilities needed to thrive in today’s digital world. The youth exchange will help participants boost their communication, adaptability, and emotional intelligence in a digital context.

Dates: 22 June – 1 July 2025 (including travel days)
Location: Târgoviște, Dâmbovița, Romania
Participants: 5 young people (aged 18–24) + 1 group leader (18+, no upper age limit) per country
Venue: Târgoviște, Romania

AIM AND OBJECTIVES

The main goal of SOFT SKILLS FOR THE DIGITAL ERA is to empower youth with essential soft skills that enhance employability, communication, and emotional intelligence in digital contexts and beyond.

Objectives:

To improve communication skills for online platforms, with a focus on clear expression and active listening.
To increase adaptability and critical thinking through collaborative activities and digital simulations.
To build emotional intelligence and foster respectful interaction in digital environments.
To promote teamwork, self-reflection, and active participation in both digital and offline communities.

This Erasmus+ youth exchange in Târgoviște, Romania encourages young participants to become more confident, digitally responsible, and socially engaged European citizens.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

The Youth Exchange SOFT SKILLS FOR THE DIGITAL ERA is open to:

30 young people (aged 18–24) – 5 from each partner country
6 group leaders (1 per group), aged 18+ with no upper limit
Participants who are passionate about soft skills, digital tools, and intercultural dialogue
Young people who face fewer opportunities due to social, economic, cultural, or geographical barriers
Group leaders with coordination experience and a strong interest in youth empowerment

You are 18–24 years old and want to boost your soft skills for the digital era

You are open to new experiences and want to actively contribute to group learning

You can communicate in English at a basic level
